Hicks has been awarded the new 2.5 million square feet Parkland Hospital. The $1.271 billion dollar project consist of an 862 bed adult inpatient hosptial, outpatient center, parking garage, central utility plant and logistics building.
The new hospital is scheduled to be completed in 2014 and is the largest hospital construction project in America. The facility will encompass 2.5 million square feet with 862 beds, adding desperately needed space particularly in critical areas such as the emergency room, operating room and the burn and neonatal intensive care units.
